We do the "How Are You Feeling Today?" check-in every morning with my kindergarteners. Before these cards, I got a lot of "good" and "fine." Now they can actually point to what they're feeling. Yesterday a kid pointed to "frustrated" and we talked about sharing toys. The 10 activities gave me a whole month of circle time content. Printed one set on cardstock and laminated them - they've held up great.

My 5-year-old goes from zero to meltdown in seconds. We started pulling a card before bed and it actually works. The "Breathing Balloon" one is his favorite - takes 3 minutes and he's calm enough to sleep. The implementation guide helped me figure out when to use which cards. Printed them on cardstock and keep them in a little basket by his bed.

I give these to clients who can't name what they're feeling. Some draw, some write - both work. Covers the situations I see most in my practice. Only wish it had follow-up questions built in, but for the price I can't complain. Use it weekly.

Pull one out when a kid comes to my office upset and we can process it in 15 minutes. The scenarios are perfect for middle schoolers - not babyish, not too heavy. Use it for both planned lessons and crisis moments.

My 11-year-old usually shuts down when I ask about school or feelings. These worksheets gave us a way to talk without it feeling like an interrogation. We do one every Sunday evening before the week starts. Last week we did the "when my friends leave me out" scenario and she opened up about something that happened at lunch that I never would have known about. The situations are spot-on for middle school life. Wish it had more pages, but for $24 it's been worth it just for those conversations.
